My music is like a journey that shifts between hypnotic, percussive rhythms around the world and dreamy, immersive vibes. It’s also a mix of classic house, disco, syncopated beats, and a bit of leftfield experimentation. Can I say eclectic? :)
— Zeynep Erbay

Zeynep Erbay is a London-based Turkish DJ, producer, and musician whose journey bridges classical roots, club culture, and cultural storytelling. Trained as a pianist at the conservatory, she spent years immersed in classical repertoire while exploring jazz, fusion, and dance-floor-driven sounds, a foundation that continues to shape her melodic sensibility today.

Back in Istanbul, she curated influential radio shows and immersed herself in the city’s vibrant underground culture. Her sound flows from house to disco to deep and cosmic elements, blending acid-tinged and percussive grooves with colorful melodies and hypnotic rhythms, creating an energy that moves between playful peaks and intense, driving moments.

Her downtempo Healer EP on NuNorthern Soul drew support from Damian Lazarus, Glenn Underground and Jkriv. She has released on Soul Clap Records, Compost, Exploited and Fool’s Gold, with her track Flowers featured on Compost’s Future Sound of Jazz 11 alongside tracks by Solomun & Stimming, Dennis Ferrer and Koop. Her remix for Soul Clap & Egyptian Lover earned recognition from Chloé Caillet, Make a Dance and Soul Clap themselves.

Zeynep has performed at Sónar Festival, ADE, HÖR Berlin, Sisyphos, Istanbul Jazz Festival, Nublu NYC, London’s ICA and the iconic Panorama Bar Berghain. Through her Voices Radio show Moments on the Floor, she celebrates the roots of dance music while exploring its emotional and communal dimensions.

In parallel with her club and festival work, Zeynep has collaborated with global brands including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Adidas and Chanel, as well as cultural events like the Elle Style Awards, bridging electronic music with fashion and contemporary culture.
